Power Precision is hiring a Protection & Control Specialist to design, configure, test, commission, and maintain protection and control systems for substations and electrical infrastructure. The role involves relay and control equipment testing, short-circuit and arc-flash studies, AutoCAD electrical drawings, schematic interpretation, high- and low-voltage equipment testing, and travel throughout the Maritimes for customer and project sites. Candidates need an electrical engineering degree or technology qualification, or five years of electrical-industry experience, along with three to five years of hands-on protection and control testing experience, Omicron or Doble relay testing, SCADA/RTU knowledge, and a valid New Brunswick Class 5 driver’s license.
