Description
Walden Security is hiring Protective Service Officers to provide armed security and access control for facilities in the Washington, DC metro area. The role involves screening visitors, personnel, and vehicles; conducting patrols; responding to alarms and emergencies; detaining individuals when necessary; documenting incidents; protecting federal employees and property; and administering first aid, CPR, AED, and NARCAN. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, at least 21 years old, have a high school diploma or GED, at least 18 months of prior law enforcement experience, appropriate academy and firearms certification, and current first-aid and related certifications. The position pays $43.26 per hour and includes daily pay, health and wellness benefits, paid leave, performance recognition, and on-the-job training.
