GDBA is hiring a Protector in Santa Barbara to monitor properties, screen visitors and vendors, control site access, execute security plans, respond to medical emergencies, provide physical protection and logistical support, arrange secure transportation, prepare locations, document suspicious activity, and maintain readiness for threats. The role requires GDBA’s 12-day Essential Protector Skills training, physical readiness testing, swimming, drug and nicotine-free status, a background check, and appropriate state firearm and security licensing. Base earnings are at least $90,000 in the first year, with potential first-year earnings up to $110,000 based on experience, training performance, and promotion opportunities.
