Sei Labs is hiring a Protocol Engineer specialized in the EVM to lead the development of core Sei Blockchain components, including execution, consensus, state management, and storage. The role focuses on designing and optimizing the foundational layers of a high-performance decentralized network, analyzing end-to-end EVM performance, driving product improvements, and taking ownership of the work and team. Candidates need at least five years of infrastructure engineering experience, two or more years of EVM work in building and scaling Layer 1 blockchain performance, deep EVM knowledge, and a proven technical leadership record.
