Description
The Prototype Design Engineer will independently design, assemble, test, and document fixtures and prototypes for laser, welding, machining, and measuring applications, while supporting the mechanical laboratory, subcontractors, and pilot projects. The role also involves developing and maintaining production equipment, creating drawings, managing design changes, and implementing occupational health and safety and environmental protection measures. Candidates should have a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or further technician training, with initial practical design experience desirable; PTC Creo, Windchill, 3D printing, laser processing, and welding knowledge are required, while German skills are required and English is a plus. The position offers performance-based pay of €28.40 per hour, flexible working hours, remote-work options, training, and employee benefits.
