FERCHAU is hiring a Prototype Development Assembly Technician – Battery Module Assembly to build, convert, repair, inspect, test, and document prototype high-voltage battery packs and modules for automotive development projects. The role includes fault analysis, rework, leak testing, electrical functional testing, module housing and welding assessments, component modification, and preparation of test reports. Candidates need vehicle electrician, automotive mechatronics, or comparable training, several years of vehicle mechatronics or vehicle electrician experience, prototype and high-voltage battery experience, knowledge of manufacturing processes such as laser welding and bonding, and familiarity with development IT systems.
