Description
The Prototype Lab Engineer coordinates and supports the fabrication, assembly, installation, modification, testing, and validation of aircraft prototypes, mockups, tooling, fixtures, and ground-support equipment. The role leads laboratory safety and risk management, plans technician activities and lab capacity, manages materials and instrumentation calibration, and provides technical guidance to engineering, manufacturing, and project teams. It requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, at least five years of prototype or mockup fabrication and test-and-validation experience, and is an on-site position requiring U.S. authorization and possible domestic and international travel.
