1X is hiring a 3D Printing and Prototyping Lab Technician to own and operate the company's shared engineering lab. The role serves as the first point of contact for engineers, coordinates printing requests and hands-on prototyping support, prepares and post-processes 3D-printed parts, maintains workbenches and equipment, manages inventory and tooling, and upholds safety and organization standards. Candidates need hands-on 3D-printing and prototyping experience, printer-operation and troubleshooting skills, CAD and workshop-tool familiarity, and experience keeping a shared lab stocked and ready. The position offers $100,000–$130,000 plus equity and medical, dental, and vision coverage.
