Humanoid is hiring a hands-on Prototype Engineer to build, assemble, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware prototypes for robot end effectors and human-worn devices. The role runs the prototyping shop, operates 3D printers and CNC equipment, prototypes with ESP32 and Raspberry Pi, builds test rigs, supports hardware trials and demos, manages parts inventory, and provides practical feedback to the design team. Candidates should have mechanical or mechatronic engineering, technician training, or equivalent hands-on hardware experience, including 2–4 years prototyping physical hardware or robotics products, along with skills in 3D printing, machining, soldering, cable assembly, MCU prototyping, CAD reading, and test-rig support.
