Description
The Prototype Engineer will join a dedicated team developing innovative maritime communication technologies, realizing and commissioning prototypes and demonstrators, and collaborating with system architects on detailed designs and customized mechanical and electromechanical solutions. The role includes 3D CAD design, wiring planning, technical drawing, lab-sample implementation, hardware testing, troubleshooting, stakeholder coordination, and documentation. Candidates need state-certified technician training or an engineering degree with relevant experience, knowledge of radio and communication systems, CAD skills, and basic English. The position is based at TKMS Hagenuk Marinekommunikation’s Flintbek site near Kiel and offers home-office options, flexible working hours, and other benefits.
