Etched is hiring to stand up and lead an in-house prototyping division at its Milpitas facility, covering space planning, equipment procurement, permits, commissioning, hiring and developing machinists, fabricators, and assembly technicians, daily same-day or next-day prototype turnaround, shop systems, budgeting, quality infrastructure, and collaboration with engineering teams. The role requires a relevant engineering degree or four years of manufacturing or prototype operations experience, at least three years in manufacturing or hardware prototyping, and at least two years leading manufacturing teams, along with hands-on CNC or sheet-metal experience.
