Description
The Prototype Manufacturing Engineer will lead and perform prototype-system builds for Electric Power Steering products in North America, including internal test parts and customer-delivered prototypes for vehicle and bench testing. The role coordinates builds across technical, sales, and program-management teams; manages schedules, resources, costs, quality assurance, inspection data, suppliers, and build processes; provides technical support for customer quotes; and collaborates with US and Japan prototype departments. The position requires a BS in Mechanical, Automotive, Electrical, or Materials Engineering, hands-on prototype testing and data collection, CAD and GD&T proficiency, and the ability to work in prototype and test laboratories.
