Description
The Prototype Technician assembles, tears down, tests, and analyzes prototype and pilot pre-production powertrain and industrial systems, including engines, transmissions, driveline PTUs, and RDUs. The role also performs preventative maintenance and repairs, installs and removes test setups, uses precision measuring tools, completes timecards and IFS ERP job travelers, and prepares reports. Applicants need at least two years of automotive engine building and machining experience, with a two-year college, technical, or vocational school and automotive engine dynamometer testing experience preferred. The position is on-site and does not offer current or future work authorization transfer or sponsorship.
