Nissan is hiring a permanent Motor Control Engineer to develop advanced motor-control systems for inverters used in electrified vehicles. The role covers control-system design, parameter tuning, vehicle performance evaluation, diagnostics, and fail-safe functions, working with vehicle and motor design teams. Required qualifications include MATLAB or Simulink control-system development experience and a TOEIC score of 500 or higher; preferred qualifications include electric-motor, functional-safety, AUTOSAR, CAN, control-theory, ISO 26262, MBD, and three-phase synchronous-motor experience. The position is based at Nissan Technical Center in Atsugi, Kanagawa, with a reference monthly salary of ¥211,000–¥439,000.
