Description
The role is a permanent Software-Defined Vehicle (SDV) Development Engineer at Nissan’s Technical Center in Atsugi, Kanagawa Prefecture. Responsibilities include developing software platforms using AUTOSAR and vehicle connectivity, software development and test environments using MATLAB and Simulink, cloud-based vehicle driving-data analysis, software configuration management, and ECU hardware development. The position also involves project management leading overall ECU development and collaboration with global partners and suppliers. Required qualifications include basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, electronic, control, and automotive engineering, an interest in automotive and computer technologies, and a TOEIC score of 600 or higher; experience in automotive control or performance development, microcontroller/microprocessor knowledge, and team leadership are preferred. The reference salary is ¥211,000–¥439,000 per month, with an estimated annual income of approximately ¥4 million–¥7.8 million.
