Description
Nissan is hiring a permanent OBD Systems Engineer to design, simulate, verify, and develop on-board diagnostics systems for powertrain and vehicle applications, including e-POWER and electric vehicles. The role covers model-based development with Matlab/Simulink, hardware-in-the-loop simulation, OBD regulatory interpretation, functional design, diagnostic communications, project management, and coordination with certification authorities and overseas stakeholders. The position is based at Nissan Technical Center in Atsugi, Kanagawa Prefecture, with approximately one remote work day per week and a monthly salary reference of ¥211,000–¥439,000.
