Description
The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will work onsite at a community-based health center in New York, New York, providing psychiatric assessments, mental status and risk evaluations, psychotropic medication management, crisis intervention, treatment planning, progress documentation, and interdisciplinary collaboration. The role requires a master's degree in nursing with a post-master's certificate, a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner license, 3–5 years of clinical experience with minority communities, group facilitation and psychopathology knowledge, and experience with mental illness and substance abuse treatment; bilingual English-Spanish ability and New York City social service experience are desirable. Compensation is $140,000–$150,000 per year.
