Description
The Psychiatric Technician provides client care for youth aged 5–17 in an OMH licensed program, supporting clients experiencing acute psychiatric distress through therapeutic, supportive, nurturing, and structured programming. The role works within an interdisciplinary team, attends team meetings and annual trainings, participates in supervision, and serves as a professional role model. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, some college education is preferred, and the ability to care for children in a nurturing and therapeutic manner and a driver's license are required.
