MELE is hiring a part-time remote Psychiatrist to support the Office of Headquarters Security Vetting for the Associate Under Secretary for Environment, Health, Safety and Security in the Department of Energy. The role performs mental health evaluations under Title 10 CFR Part 710, including clinical opinions, PEth and EtG test evaluation, written reports, and possible administrative hearing testimony. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, hold an active Q or TS security clearance, be board-certified or licensed in Maryland, devote at least 50% of their practice to substance-abuse treatment, and have experience testifying in administrative or criminal proceedings. The position pays $275 to $300 per hour.
