Description
CoreCivic is seeking a Psychiatrist to provide comprehensive psychiatric care to incarcerated individuals in a correctional facility. The role includes psychiatric assessment and diagnosis, treatment planning, medication management, psychotherapy, crisis intervention, interdisciplinary collaboration, documentation, compliance, and staff education. Applicants must hold an MD or DO degree, an unrestricted medical license, a DEA registration, and relevant psychiatric experience; correctional medicine or underserved-population experience is preferred.
