Description
The Psychiatrist provides psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, treatment, medication management, and care coordination for patients with eating disorders and related or comorbid conditions across multiple levels of care. The role works as part of a multidisciplinary team, develops treatment plans, supports ancillary providers, coordinates with families and ambulatory providers, follows up with discharged patients, participates in utilization review and clinical committees, and maintains licensure and certification requirements. The position is part-time, scheduled for 3–4 days per week, and requires an MD or DO, BC/BE in Psychiatry, current medical and DEA licenses, and completion of an accredited psychiatry residency; eating disorder and child and adolescent certification experience are preferred.
