Description
Rethink Mental Illness is hiring a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner to work at HMP Durham and deliver an integrated stepped-care mental health service for prisoners and Rethink Mental Illness employees. The role assesses referrals, supports recovery and self-management, delivers low-intensity evidence-based interventions such as Guided Self-Help and CBT-based psycho-education, collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, maintains clinical records, and supports service performance and post-release care. Applicants must be qualified and accredited as a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner, have post-qualification experience delivering IAPT low-intensity Step 2 interventions, and hold a full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle or the ability to travel daily to HMP Durham.
