CHEO is hiring a Psychologist for its Eating Disorders Program in Ottawa. The role provides psychodiagnostic and psychological assessments and evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Family Based Therapy and Emotion-Focused Family Therapy, for children and youth with severe eating disorders. The Psychologist collaborates within an interdisciplinary pediatric healthcare team, supports clinical research and program monitoring, trains Psychology residents and practicum students, maintains clinical documentation, and participates in professional development and committees. A doctorate in Clinical Psychology, Ontario psychologist registration or eligibility, clinical practice designation for children and adolescents, experience treating severe mental health difficulties, and group and family therapy experience are required; eating-disorder experience and French-English bilingualism are preferred.
