Description
The part-time Cook works under the supervision of a Program Supervisor or Manager to plan menus, order and store food, prepare and serve nutritious meals, maintain kitchen hygiene, and keep food inventory. The role requires ServSafe Food Handlers Certification, the ability to work with residents, volunteers, and staff, and a commitment to the New Jersey Association on Correction’s philosophy; prior corrections experience is a plus. Compensation is $16 per hour for 24 hours, with 401k and earned sick time.
