Description
The Public Health Emergency Preparedness and Response Coordinator serves as the Medical Health Operational Area Coordinator or designee, coordinating 24/7/365 medical and health resources during local emergencies or disasters and responding to regional requests. The role plans, coordinates, and implements public health emergency preparedness activities, supports bio-terrorism, infectious disease, and other public health threats, and leads the development and implementation of Nevada County’s emergency prevention and response plans. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and two years of emergency preparedness or response experience, and offers medical, dental, and vision insurance along with telework options.
