Wiltshire Council is hiring a Public Health Practitioner for a two-year fixed-term role focused on preventing and reducing gambling-related harms across Wiltshire. The position leads and evaluates evidence-based interventions, uses data and research to identify local needs, builds partnerships with healthcare and community organisations, supports awareness and workforce development, and contributes to strategic planning and service development. The role also covers broader public health priorities including mental wellbeing, emotional resilience, suicide prevention, and substance use. It pays £41,177–£43,149 per annum for 37 hours per week and requires a first-class degree or equivalent skills and experience in public health.
