Description
The City of Henderson is hiring two part-time Public Response Officer (Code Enforcement) employees for its Department of Community Development and Services. The role investigates complaints and takes enforcement actions related to property maintenance, building, zoning, nuisance, public health, park rules, and other municipal codes. It is primarily an independent field position requiring an average of 19 hours per week, flexible scheduling, outdoor travel, and possible evening, weekend, holiday, or extended-hour work. Applicants must have a high school education or equivalent, two years of field experience in code enforcement, a required AACE or ICC property maintenance and housing inspection certificate, a valid Nevada or border-state driver's license, and pass background checks; additional certifications and experience are desirable.
