The Public Safety Officer, ISC is a non-sworn, armed full-time University Police position at the Island Sports Center. The role provides public safety and information services, conducts mobile and foot patrols, responds to incidents, documents criminal and non-criminal activity, supports campus police communications, and handles traffic and crowd control. It requires a high school diploma or equivalent, prior police or security experience, a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license, Pennsylvania State Police Act #235 certification, Act 153 clearance, and motor vehicle and credit checks.
