Description
Milwaukee County is hiring a full-time Public Safety Officer to provide security at the Courthouse, Safety Building, Criminal Justice Facility, and Vel R. Phillips Youth & Family Justice Center. The role includes screening visitors, operating magnetometers and handheld metal detectors, assisting citizens, conducting building sweeps, responding to emergencies, and using radios and computers. Applicants must be Wisconsin residents, have a high school diploma or GED, and may be asked to submit a resume and take additional tests.
