Description
The Public Works Technician I supports the Town of Jackpot in operating and maintaining water and sewer systems, buildings, grounds, vehicles, and related equipment. The role includes basic data entry, troubleshooting, tool and equipment operation, heavy equipment and 18-wheel truck operation, welding, electrical maintenance, excavation, and travel. It is safety-sensitive, requires on-call availability and occasional weekend work, and may require overnight or extended travel. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, while no prior experience is required; several certifications are preferred or required within specified timeframes.
