Description
The Pulmonary Function Technologist-RRT performs pulmonary diagnostic examinations, including spirometry, complete pulmonary function tests, and exercise or metabolic studies for inpatient and outpatient patients. The role also supports physicians and allied health professionals with PFT performance, documentation, and interpretation; provides education to students, patients, families, and caregivers; and maintains quality-assurance records. The position requires an associate degree in respiratory care, an active Ohio respiratory-care license, an active NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist credential, an NBRC Certified Pulmonary Function Technologist credential, BLS and ACLS certification, and 1–3 years of related experience.
