Description
Georgia-Pacific is hiring a Pulp Mill Technical Assistant in Toledo, Oregon to support the safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation of its pulp mill. The role provides technical leadership for process improvement, equipment reliability, maintenance prioritization, operator development, troubleshooting, operating procedures, training, continuous improvement, and capital projects. It requires at least two years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing, heavy industrial, or military environment, Microsoft Office experience, and preferably an engineering, manufacturing, operations management, or related degree, paper-machine operation knowledge, Kronos experience, and communication skills.
