Kalitta Air is hiring a Purchaser in its Materials department in Ypsilanti, Michigan. The role coordinates procurement and expediting of aircraft parts and materials, supports stock replenishment, monitors purchasing approvals and approved maintenance providers, solicits and documents quotations, resolves inventory shortages, and fulfills backshop and stockroom needs. The position requires a high school education, some college or technical school is desirable, aviation experience with inventory-management database experience is preferred, Microsoft Office proficiency, and strong communication skills.
