Description
Rising Edge Group is hiring a Purchaser to support procurement of materials, tools, equipment, and services for high-voltage electrical infrastructure projects and operations. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the role develops procurement plans, sources and manages vendors and subcontractors, oversees purchase orders and agreements, incorporates commercial and prime-contract requirements into supplier terms, mitigates risks and supports cost savings, leads weekly procurement meetings, maintains supplier relationships, and improves procurement processes. The position requires a relevant bachelor's degree with purchasing experience or equivalent related experience, knowledge of high-voltage/medium-voltage electrical equipment and substations, sourcing and negotiation experience, and proficiency with business and construction software.
