Description
The Purchasing Agent is responsible for reviewing requisitions, evaluating vendors, selecting products and suppliers, preparing purchase orders and bid requests, negotiating contracts, approving invoices, and expediting deliveries. The role requires a bachelor's degree in a specialty area and at least four years of experience, knowledge of MRP systems with Oracle preferred, and strong analytical, problem-solving, project-management, customer-service, quality-management, and business-acumen skills. This is a fully onsite contract position in Buffalo Grove, Illinois, paying $37.00 per hour, with benefits potentially available depending on eligibility.
