The Purchasing Specialist researches and negotiates with product suppliers, monitors promotional campaigns and product displays, prepares management reports, registers products, tracks purchase orders and deliveries, develops alternative suppliers, and occasionally visits stores to check product execution. The role requires a completed university degree, purchasing experience is preferred, and availability for occasional travel.
