Description
The Purchasing Engineer manages new-product-development purchasing for plastic, machined, die-cast, electrical, and electronic components, including supplier selection, competitive pricing, part approvals, project milestones, budgets, tooling expenses, and technical supplier discussions. The role requires a bachelor's degree, 5–7 years of engineering or technical project-management experience, strong negotiation and communication skills, and knowledge of engineering drawings, CAD, quality, and manufacturing processes. It is a full-time U.S. position with a base salary of $100,000 to $110,000 and no future work-authorization sponsorship.
