Description
The Purchasing Engineer is responsible for procuring individual parts and assemblies, evaluating quotations, negotiating with suppliers, drafting contracts, contributing to purchasing strategy, analyzing national and international procurement markets, expanding the supply chain, and supporting cost estimates. The role requires an engineering or business administration degree, mechanical engineering experience, procurement experience in technically complex project business, strong English, negotiation and contract-law knowledge, and willingness to travel. It can be based in Kassel, Kiel, or Unterlüß, with Kassel offering mobile working and other employee benefits.
