The Purchasing and Cost Control Officer reviews purchase requisitions, evaluates suppliers, negotiates prices and terms, places orders, follows up on deliveries, audits receiving and storage areas, and monitors food and beverage, stationary, and equipment movements. The role also reports daily and monthly rooms and F&B costs, analyzes variances, and tracks slow-moving items, breakages, and losses. Applicants need a professional certificate or diploma in finance or accountancy, English and Bahasa Malaysia communication skills, at least three years of related experience, and specialization in receiving and cost control.
