Description
Ford is hiring a Purchasing Ford Champ to support the Purchasing Team by analyzing supply-base cost structures, consolidating suppliers, negotiating with suppliers, and identifying commercial leverage and cost-saving opportunities. The role also supports sourcing, resourcing, banking, and operations activities across operational and category buyers, while collaborating with Product Development, Quality, Finance, and Suppliers. Candidates must be active students in Engineering, International Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field, have strong English and analytical skills, and be able to manage multiple priorities, work independently and collaboratively, and develop negotiation skills.
