Description
The Purchasing Manager places and manages purchase orders and subcontracts, monitors open orders, maintains MRP data, negotiates supplier terms, prioritizes program requirements, communicates supplier risks, and supports purchasing discrepancies. The role requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 5+ years of supply-chain experience or 9+ years of purchasing experience, strong communication and analytical skills, familiarity with procurement and ERP systems, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Preferred experience includes aerospace or defense procurement and compliance with FARs and NASA requirements. The Colorado base salary range is $74,600 to $106,800, with medical, dental, vision, retirement, wellness, and other benefits.
