Description
Bertrandt is hiring a Purchasing Manager to own inquiry and award processes for new parts and changes, analyze offers and total cost of ownership, develop cost-saving programs, coordinate technical drawing deviations, prepare sourcing decisions, manage suppliers and contracts, order production parts and tools, support APQP and supplier issues, negotiate price adjustments, and lead a small team. The role requires a commercial or technical degree, at least five years of automotive purchasing experience, technical drawing and manufacturing knowledge, international supplier and cross-functional experience, German and English negotiation skills, strong Excel and communication skills, and willingness to travel for international assignments.
