Description
Coherent Corp is hiring a Purchasing Manager for its Scotland site to lead the site's purchasing function and support global sourcing, supplier partnerships, cost and quality improvement, contract compliance, inventory planning, and supply chain resilience. Reporting to the Senior Materials Manager, the role will oversee purchasing activities, mentor Buyers, lead negotiations, establish standard costs, and collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance, and Supply Chain teams. Candidates should have a relevant degree or equivalent experience, significant manufacturing procurement or supply chain experience, strong supplier and negotiation skills, MRP/ERP knowledge, and advanced Microsoft Office proficiency.
