Coherent Corp is hiring a Purchasing Manager for its Scotland site, a high-tech manufacturing and laser technology operation. The role leads the site's purchasing function, oversees procurement of materials, components, and equipment, manages supplier performance and contracts, negotiates commercial agreements, supports inventory and production requirements, mentors Buyers, and drives cost, quality, supply security, and supply chain improvements. Candidates should have significant purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience in manufacturing, leadership experience, knowledge of manufacturing and material planning, contract negotiation and supplier management skills, MRP/ERP experience, strong commercial and analytical abilities, advanced Microsoft Office proficiency, and excellent project management, communication, and collaboration skills.
