Description
The Purchasing Manager will lead purchasing and supplier management for Blakley Electrics across its Harlow and Crayford manufacturing sites, managing approximately £7m of annual spend on raw materials, electrical components, fabricated parts and subcontract services. The role supervises a Buyer, supports UK manufacturing operations, manages supplier performance and risks, optimises inventory and purchasing parameters, maintains Epicor ERP data integrity, and contributes to cost reduction, sustainability and continuous improvement initiatives. It is office-based in Harlow with travel to suppliers and business locations as required.
