Description
The Purchasing Manager will review requisitions, obtain quotations, analyze proposals, negotiate contracts, manage vendor relationships and blanket orders, monitor vendor quality, coordinate mill chemicals and transportation, and manage inventory and accounts payable. The role requires a business, engineering, or supply-management degree, five years of purchasing or related experience, negotiation experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and computer proficiency. The starting salary is $86,400–$108,000, with medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other benefits.
