Description
The Purchasing Manager develops and implements procurement policies, manages vendor contracts and supplier relationships, leads strategic sourcing and contract administration, oversees purchase orders and inventory costing, and directs forecasting and demand planning. The role also manages the procurement team, including hiring, training, performance reviews, and continuous improvement, while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders and occasionally serving in a client-facing capacity. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, finance, or a similar field, or 15+ years of procurement experience in lieu of the degree, along with 8 to 10 years of procurement experience; it operates in a standard open office and hybrid environment with occasional warehouse presence.
