Description
The Purchasing Manager will develop and execute strategic and operational procurement strategies for metals and other production-relevant materials and services, manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts and prices, monitor markets, ensure reliable and cost-efficient supply, oversee transportation and warehouse operations, optimize purchasing processes, and lead the purchasing department. The role requires commercial or technical training, several years of industrial purchasing and leadership experience, strong negotiation and analytical skills, ERP and Microsoft Office proficiency, fluent German and good English, and willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
