M/I Homes is hiring for a purchasing-focused role within an assigned division to manage subcontractor price negotiations, contracts, bid packages, vendor relationships, cost data, and budgeting for residential construction. The position requires supporting purchasing, estimating, value engineering, and new home design processes, using JD Edwards daily, and mentoring staff. The role is office-based with occasional travel to job sites and requires at least a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience plus 5+ years in purchasing and/or estimating with construction contract negotiation experience.
