Akraya is hiring a Python Backend Developer for a 12+ month contract with a possible extension, working remotely from Colombia or Costa Rica. The role involves designing and maintaining cloud-native Python backend services and REST APIs, deploying and operating microservices on AWS, GCP, or Azure, collaborating in Agile/Scrum teams, writing automated tests, contributing to CI/CD pipelines, and improving production reliability, observability, and performance. Candidates need professional Python backend experience, microservice and REST API experience, cloud deployment experience, CI/CD and automated testing knowledge, and Agile software delivery experience.
